Session 3 summer 2025 is in the books! And what an amazing session it was. 

 

Last night we celebrated as a camp community an incredible camp session. We recognized bars and commendations and promotions towards little chief (see highlights below). Then we held our final campfire ceremony where counselors all shared their favorite memories and our Greybeard campers got the chance to stand and and address the whole community as they finish their time here as campers. To close the ceremony, each boy placed a stick in the campfire, representing the part of themselves that they leave here at camp with their friends until we all get to be back at camp next summer.

This morning dawned bright and clear and we were so happy to see the sun peeking out again after a rainy week. We welcomed our parents to our closing ceremony, held in the chapel. At the ceremony the boys marched in singing one of our favorite chapel songs (Anchor for our Soul), sang the camp hymn and their tribe songs. We also recognized awards for daily activities, cabin life and celebrated our 3 Little Chiefs: Matthew A, Bay J and Oliver G. Highlights again are below! To finish the ceremony we made the most anticipated announcement of all, the winner of the banner. And the third session banner went to….THE GOLDEN EAGLES! Congratulations to the Golden Eagles and best of luck next summer to the mighty black bears. 

 

It has been an amazing summer and we are so thankful for each and every one of our campers and staff who made it possible. See you next summer Timberlake!
