Another beautiful Friday here at Camp Timberlake! This morning our boys headed to the dining hall for biscuits, eggs, potatoes, and bacon, followed by a morning yell with Richard B and a true story with counselor Will T. Campers were sent off to clean their cabin. We already have a tight race for the coveted golden plunger. As our guys started their morning activities we had two trips head out. A mountain biking trip to Old Fort with Eli M, Darby M, Benjamin H, Charlie P, Aaron S, Jack S, Graham N, and Luke M. A river snorkeling trip with Grant S, Kellan P, Charlie C, Will C, James A, Luke R, Hampton C, Fox R, Robert R, Turner B, Jack H, and John Isaac H. 

After finishing up morning activities, the boys headed back to The Tuck for a delicious lunch of southwest chicken wraps, tortilla chips, sliced oranges and a creamy tomato soup. After lunch everyone learned that Little Slaty and Stomper’s Knob, and Bull Run tied for 1st place in cabin clean up with a 9.75. As for Jedi Wars, the Golden Eagles were the winners. Everyone headed out for the best time…rest time followed by the freest time…free time. Afternoon activities started up and before we knew it was time for dinner where we had roasted pork, potatoes, peas and dinner rolls with Snickerdoodle cookies for dessert. For evening activity tonight we are having our Little Chief ceremony, where we take time to recognize the accomplishments of our campers in cabin life and activities.
