Hello Hello to all the happy Camp Timberlake families! This morning started off with all our boys cozy in bed, well that is for all but 5 of the brave young men who dared to leave the comfort of their cabin and head into the uncharted forest to do their solo 13 last night! We had a great breakfast of hashbrowns, eggs, and biscuits with gravy. After that most of our boys went down to the morning yell and chappel to hear another true story by the one and only Joey Blasetti.

As for the rest of them we had a DACE NATION!!! (fly fishing) trip, rafting trip, and caving trip going out today. On the DACE NATION!!! trip we had Owen C, Stephen G, Jacob M, Bob E, Will W, and Cash K for a trip total of 4 fish! Facing the gorge head on for rafting was Benton D, Ford C, Hamilton M, Connor P, Lawson R, George F, Mason L, Russell M, Jack C, Gage S, Tommy W, and Todd Michael P. Last but not least of our trips we had some of the mighty men of GreyBeard plummet into the depth on the earth on our caving trip those men were Beckett B, David C, Zach M (HAPPY BDAY ZACH), Thomas R, Jack S, Theo T, and Zimmer Watson.

Out on Lake NewComb the boys were rippin lips like there’s no tomorrow and Finnian B nearly caught a 3lbs large mouth bass! That’s not the only great accomplishment done on the lake today; we also had 2 of our boys Richard F and Wilson F get their silver bar in canoeing along with Robert R getting his bronze bar. Over in the shade of the trees scaling the climbing tower for his bronze bar in climbing was Preston C. Richard F couldn’t stop himself with just one bar today so he ran up to spencers green where he successfully secured his gold bar alongside his peer Walker F who achieved his silver bar in field sports! After a long day of activities and accomplishments the boys headed to dinner to enjoy some delicious roasted ham, cheesy potatoes and green beans.

AND NOWWWW!!!!!! Junior/intermediate camp cabin night senior camp bandits rancheros!! That’s right junior and intermediate camp are getting to spend some quality time with their fellow cabin mates and counselors doing whatever their awesome counselor planned for them. Up at the tennis courts it’s a more serious tone as the Senior Camp Golden Eagles and the Black Bear face off in an attempt to secure the banner for their tribe this year. The night will end with the regular devotion and quiet time in the cabin resulting in a day of growth through friendship and adventure! Have a great night timberlake families!
