WELCOME BACK TO CAMP!!!!!!!

On this Tyrannosaurus thursday, the boys woke up ready to go, heading down to breakfast ready for a new day. After some delicious eggs, potatoes, bacon and biscuits we headed outside for the morning yell to wake us up for the coming day. Before chapel we sent out a a few trips; a day hike with our youngest campers including Walker R, Monty H, Finn B, Blake B, Cohen L, Thomas M and to complete the sandwich our famous Greybeard trip with Reynolds A, Becket B, David C, Wilson F, Zach M, Jonas M, Thomas R, Reid S, Jack S, Theo T, and Zimmer W. 

As we walked and ran to the chapel for our amazing true story from Jake H! In chapel we sang our favourite songs and after everyone ran to the cabins for the second most competitive part of the day… CABIN CLEANUP! We enjoyed the gorgeous weather!

After everyone finished cabin cleanup we headed off to first activities where in and out of camp the boys worked hard on everything they could. Gage S had his birthday on the Overnight Climbing trip and everyone sang happy birthday while he repelled down a cliff face. Will N caught a two pound bass in fishing and Logan M beat John Menendez in connect4. 

After the first activities of the day we all went to lunch to have some french toast sandwiches with fries and grapes to tie us over for the rest of the day. We also found out the cabin cleanup scores! The winner of today was… STOMPERS KNOB REIGNING VICTORIOUS and we also learned the winners of BEHIND ENEMY LINES… THE MIGHTY BLACK BEARS! We finished lunch and went to rest time to give us the relaxation everyone deserves before freetime. Everyone ran to trading post before going to earn marks by either running the crooked mile or completing the one match fire like McGinn M, Richard F, Robert R, Thomas R and Tommy F. Archery and basketball was also open for everyone today. 

After freetime ended we went to our third and fourth activities where everyone continued to succeed all over camp including the Climbing overnight trip came back where Owen H, Gage S, Steele G, Liam T, Gus M, Powers T, Connor P, Ben F, Cameron R. They told stories of rappels and climbs they all accomplished. 

Finishing activities and heading to dinner where we ate some scrumptious spring rolls, veggies, chicken and rice and enjoyed some cake slices for dessert to round out the day. The tribal game turned out to be… SUPEERRRR MARIIOOOOOOOOO, camp-wide running around looking for powerups to save Peach from Bowser, we will soon find out who wins…
