The first Friday of 3B was incredible! This morning we had sausage and waffle sticks for breakfast-YUM and yelled to the heavens during the morning yell. At chapel we sang a fan favorite-The Banana Song and heard a true story from counselor Timmy M. 

After chapel our trips headed out. Our Mountain Biking crew with Davis O, Chase O, Owen C, Mateo GV, Reid S, Zach M, Jack S, Zimmer W, and Henry B headed Old Fort. Kayaking headed to the Tuckaseegee with Robert R, Reynolds A, Chris J, Thomas R, and James S. Finally, a backpacking overnight headed out to Linville River with Jack C, Titus W, Ari P, Ford C, Tommy W, John Grady M, Alek K, Jack M, Patrick H, Tyler T, and Ben F. At camp our morning activities started with boys in the lake, riding the trails, shooting at the ranges, and climbing the tower. 

Lunch time came and we ate delicious chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Our lunch time announcements started where cabin inspections scores were announced-Stomper’s Knob won today! The winners of last night’s activity were the Black Bears! Campers ran off the best time-rest time and then to free time. Afternoon activities picked up and some boys participated in the adventure race: Stephen G, Tommy F, Baine B, Ricahrd F, McGinn M, Will N, Chase O, Liam T, Owen C, Sumner D, Henry B, Franklin P, Jack S, Reid S, Beckett B, Wilson F, Cason D, Alex M, Connor P, Herrick M, Cash K, Thomas R, SJ G, and Walker F. Before we knew it was time for an incredible dinner of _____________ with _______ for dessert. Normally, our evening activity is a tribal game, but once a week we slow down and have our Little Chief ceremony. This ceremony is a time for us to recognize our guys that are showing courage, humility, empathy, and grit in activities and in cabin life. The first part of our ceremony is bars in activities.
